The bread is to die for! I would highly recommend. My partner is gluten intolerant and the gluten free version of their home made bread is incredible for a gluten free bread.
He had the veggie nachos and it was very under whelming, very plain. Mash was okay. I had the seafood pie and it was good. Fish was good quality - I didn't expect bones in the fish so be careful (but that doesn't impact my rating, I would just have liked to be warned). Staff was lovely

Tasty food
After a flight from NYC and drive from Dublin while exploring Sligo we happened into Donaghy's bar. We were meet by Andy who sat us for an early dinner. We started out with a delicious cocktail & a Guinness. We ate in the bar area starting with their homemade loaf that was really good. Seafood chowder and an order of bruschetta was next. Our mains were beef guinness stew & fisherman pie. Everything was delicious. Andy took his time to welcome us to Sligo before moving on to the Coach Lane to prepare for the dinner crowd. If you are ever in Sligo this place is a must. They have been in business over 30 years.
Absolutely spectacular!!!
This bread was the best bread I've ever tasted. It was even better than anything I've ever made myself. I can't believe how good it was.
The lamb shank was very tasty and the carrot and parsnip puree was out of this world. I'm not usually a fan of puree, but this was fantastic. The hot red cabbage was a nice balance to the lamb shank, potatoes mash and gravy.
I must say, this place gets 5 stars from me!!!
